We are pleased to welcome you to the Easton CE Academy website.
Our vision is for our diverse community to grow together, have fun together and excel in learning.
You are very welcome to our school.
We are a large, thriving academy situated at the heart of the vibrant, multicultural community of Easton and our motto is 'Being different. Belonging together'. We welcome children and families of all faiths and those with none. We are pleased to have more than 30 languages spoken in the school and we welcome those who have recently arrived in the country. Our vision is for our diverse community to grow together, have fun together and excel in learning. Our school is committed to working closely with the local community and has strong links with the neighbouing Easton Family Centre and our partner Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust schools.
We have great facilities at school. We have a large field and wonderful grounds including a forest area, bespoke early years playgrounds and a multi-use games area. We are able to make great use of our city centre location with trips to places such as the City Farm, SS Great Britain, Felix Road Adventure Playground and the Graffiti Tour. Ofsted visited us in November 2019 and graded the school as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' for personal development, recognising the rich curriculum and great opportunities our children receive, including Into University and projects with other schools like 'Children Just Like Me'.
Our children make great progress in learning and our teachers are experts in Talk 4 Writing, White Rose maths, Oracy and Sounds Write Phonics, as well as the Pivotal Behaviour approach. Our teachers share expertise with colleagues across the region and we are always keen to take on new ideas and keep learning ourselves.
Please have a look through the rest of our website. We hope that this provides you with all the information you need. Do feel free to contact us for more information or, if you are considering our school for your child, to arrange a visit.
If, as a parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge.
